Basic Emergency care (1.5 Day course)
- Provide first aid until help arrives
- Provide life saving resuscitation
- Manage first aid in emergency situations
Introduction
This course includes all elements of Basic Life Support, and builds on these with the skills required to deal with common medical and accident emergencies in demanding environments with practical skill based scenarios. Participants will learn how to recognize, treat and manage conditions such as heart attacks, bleeding, diabetes, fractures, dislocations, poisoning, burns and much more. The practical components of this course begin to set the Pacific Medicare Emergency Care courses apart from other first aid courses by using specifically created realistic scenario based exercises to fine tune skill and to train the participants about the strategic capabilities of emergency care.
